The Agassi Clubhouse's concrete welcome sign had gone from landmark to eyesore, and they wanted it to look like a clubhouse again.

The Agassi Clubhouse's concrete welcome sign had gone from landmark to eyesore, and they wanted it to look like a clubhouse again.
Approach
The sign was the first thing anyone saw from the street, and years of wear had left the carved lettering chipped and cracked, more concrete patch than welcome. We rebuilt the surface from the ground up, filling the damage before a drop of paint went on, then brought the "Agassi Clubhouse" lettering back to life in three shades of blue. What used to blend into the sidewalk now stops you on your way in.
Outcome
The entrance does its job now. Instead of announcing itself with cracked concrete, it tells every kid walking up that this is a place built for them. It's a small structure with an outsized effect — the first five seconds of a Boys & Girls Club visit now feel like the fun part, not an afterthought.
