KO Knudson Academy of the Arts wanted their name to be the first thing anyone saw before they reached the front doors.
Approach
The brick wall facing the parking lot is the school's real first impression, long before anyone reaches the entrance — so it had to carry the campus's identity at full scale. We built the design around massive "KO" lettering with "Knudson Academy of the Arts" anchored next to it, and let the cougar mascot break into the top corner like it's watching over everyone who walks in. Every letter was sized to read from across the lot, not just up close.
Outcome
The wall now does what an entrance should: it tells you exactly whose campus you're on before you're through the doors. What used to be a blank stretch of brick is now the boldest statement on the property — a mural-sized welcome that students, parents, and visitors see every single day.
